KINGSTON HEATH PITCH 3 REPLACEMENT – BY FIELDTURF & TURF ONE

In 2021, FieldTurf Australia collaborated with Turf One to provide a replacement for Pitch 3 at Kingston Heath Soccer Facility, based in Cheltenham, Victoria. The facility is home to the Football Federation of Victoria (FFV) Premier League team Bentleigh Greens.

Turf One installed FieldTurf 360 XL system, reusing the existing in-situ shockpad and successfully achieving FIFA Quality certification. 

FieldTurf 360XL is one of our most popular systems. 360 XL fibre offers superior natural grass aesthetics and is exceptionally durable. It is also one of our most comfortable playing solutions due to less skin friction and abrasion. This fibre provides a solution for all; soft and player-friendly, yet ideal for ball-surface interaction.

Kingston Heath Pitch 3 used ambient rubber (SBR) infill. SBR infill is a cost-efficient, and durable solution that has withstood the test of time. Processed through a rubber cracker mill at ambient temperature, the result is a more jagged rubber granule that its cryogenic cousin, creating a looser infill with air pockets.
